Cristina Montesinos Joins Synaxis as Creative Director

Atlanta, GA - August 30, 2006 - Synaxis continues to grow as they officially hire Atlanta-based Cristina Montesinos as the Creative Director.

Montesinos has an impressive educational and professional background that has prepared her for this demanding position. Her clients have included Coca-Cola, New York Stock Exchange, Publix, Fleet Capital Leasing, Footlocker, Home Depot, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, BellSouth, Fujitsu, and ChoicePoint.

Cristina Montesinos graduated with a BFA in Visual Communications and a minor in Art History from Jacksonville University. She began her career by learning traditional typography and paste-up at a Type House in Jacksonville, FL. Next, Montesinos moved to Atlanta and continued to hone her print design skills at a large service bureau, ATI, and then a small design boutique, Big Design. In 1996 she accepted a job at IBM to learn how to design for the emerging Internet. She worked on large sites and print for companies such as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and The Hermitage Museum in Russia. In 1999, Montesinos accepted a position to lead the Atlanta visual design department at Cambiridge Technology Partners as Creative Director. In 2002, she went on to a small marketing and design company, Bright Impact, where she was able to utilize her print and interactive skills. In 2005, she accepted a position at Avenue A - Razorfish as a Creative Director where she focused on web sites, re-branding, and online advertising for large international companies.

Montesinos will officially take the helm as Creative Director on September 18.
