Atlanta, GA --- January 31, 2006 --- Synaxis announced today the acquisition of Sierra Piedmont as a client and the completion of conference support materials for Emory University.

Sierra Piedmont is a Woodstock, Georgia-based environmental consulting company. Synaxis has been engaged to create a complete rework of their Web site. Synaxis will start with Web strategy and build a site that will meet Sierra Piedmont's ultimate goals for their Web presence.

Synaxis also recently completed a poster and program mailer for the Loemker Conference 2006 celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Graduate Studies of Philosophy at Emory University.

"It's been a great beginning to 2006 for Synaxis," said Paul Welty, PhD, founder and principal. "We've picked up a great client in Sierra Piedmont. They are a terrific company with a solid history and the challenge to create an updated Web presence is one that we really look forward to undertaking. The Emory Philosophy Department is near and dear to my heart, so the opportunity to create the support materials for their 2006 conference has been quite an honor."
