Background

Environmental Remediation & Construction is a new company seeking to fill a gap in the environmental market between designs and results.

Challenge

As a new company, ERC had the usual challenges in communicating with potential customers. Beyond this, because of ERC’s innovative market position, we had to be sure to communicate two additional points: ERC is not a design or consulting company, and ERC is the first company to focus only on environmental build solutions.

ERC’s identity system became the focus of this communication solution. We took full advantage of the logo system to create a mark that immediately conveyed the appropriate impression. The visual language of the logo positions ERC as a build-oriented company. This was extended into a full corporate stationery package in order to fully reinforce the messages.

Results

Not only is the visual language accurate and clear, it solves the business problem of ensuring that ERC is not perceived as a competitor of environmental design and consulting companies. This lowers barriers for the acceptance of ERC as part of comprehensive environmental remediation projects.
