Client Spotlight: Georgia Tech Research Institute
Since 1934, the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) has served as a trusted partner to government and industry by solving tough scientific and engineering problems and serving as a source of true innovation.
GTRI is a unique nonprofit research organization embedded within the Georgia Institute of Technology, one of America's top research universities. GTRI's 1,300 employees include some of the world's top scientists and engineers who conduct nearly $140 million in sponsored research each year. Many of GTRI's experts are recognized worldwide as leaders in the core technical areas of systems engineering, sensor, and information and communication systems.
Well known as a provider of innovative technical solutions for the defense and security markets, GTRI has also creatively transitioned many of the innovations to other markets. This has had a significant impact in the fields of health and human systems, manufacturing technologies, energy/environment, and information communication technologies.
GTRI's seven laboratories and 12 field offices work together in a variety of scientific and engineering disciplines, including aerospace, biomedical, civil, electrical, industrial, and mechanical engineering. And, GTRI's association with Georgia Institute of Technology adds additional knowledge and resources for solving technological and engineering challenges.
GTRI recently hired Synaxis to redesign and update their Web site to better reflect the current state of their institute and their brand. The new site is scheduled to launch in early 2008.
