Georgia Tech DLPE Selects Synaxis for Branding and Web Initiatives

Atlanta, Georgia -- May 26, 2009 -- Synaxis is partnering with DLPE to conduct extensive qualitative and quantitative customer research, which Synaxis will utilize as part of a new brand strategy and DLPE Web site.

The Georgia Institute of Technology's Distance Learning and Professional Education (DLPE) has selected Atlanta-based marketing and technology firm, Synaxis, to help them better position, brand and market their main offerings—Distance Learning, Professional Education, the Language Institute, and the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center.

The goals for the new marketing approach include analyzing and segmenting the target market and increasing the ability of the web audience to find information, explore development opportunities and enroll. Synaxis will develop a comprehensive plan including research, evaluation, strategy, development and measurement.

"We are excited to work closely with DLPE, their students, and internal stakeholders to craft a strategy that will support their success for many years to come," remarked Paul Welty, PhD, founder and CEO of Synaxis. "Their situation is unique in that they offer credit and non-credit courses in a wide variety of subjects in several settings, from traditional, in-person courses to online. Our goal is to fine-tune their brand, communicate that brand through their site and increase course enrollments and referrals."

Patrice Miles, DLPE's Director of Marketing and Sales added, "Synaxis was selected as they offer a unique combination of capabilities. They are both a strategic thought partner and a firm who works side-by-side with you to execute the strategy. Synaxis is very focused on delivering measurable, sustainable results. We consider them a valuable extension of our team."

The branding and Web projects are underway, with completion of both projects slated for the end of summer 2009.
