What's the Value of Branding? (Part 3)

Last week we saw how branding should be amortized over its valuable life. This week, we'll briefly look at how good branding makes other things cheaper. When the brand is well-conceived, all future marketing and design execution for the company will be cheaper and faster. A well-conceived brand makes future posters, postcards, programs, reports, etc. very easy and inexpensive to design because there is a well-thought-out "template" to start from. If the foundation isn't well-done, future executions take much longer and cost more money because there isn't a good "pattern" to follow. So, a good startup is also an investment in decreasing the total cost of this kind work. Next week, we close this series with a look at how good branding increases revenue.
